Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager is responsible for helping the Personal Lines Account Managers with rating their new business accounts and other requested tasks. For both new and renewal business, the Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager is responsible for entering application information into carrier websites so that carrier premiums can be compared against each other. The Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager works directly at the direction of the Personal Lines Account Managers, whose job descriptions are found immediately after this one.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and SKILL QUALIFICATIONS:

·      While not necessary for the position, an Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license is a plus

·      Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in both Word and Excel

·      High attention to detail

·      Strong organization skills of workflow and time management

·      Good communications skills with their co-workers

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·      Helpful to have Personal Property and Casualty Insurance policies and products knowledge

·      Must be able to organize time

·      Complete submissions with detailed information about the prospect’s operations

·      There is no travel required for this position.
